Referendum, Magi's appeal (More Europe): "Italians should teach a lesson to those who invite not to vote"

Richard Magi
"Today is a precious and vital day for democracy, the day in which citizens cast their vote. Today, truly patriotic citizens go to vote because democracy is defended by making it live and practice it. We hope that they will also teach a lesson to all those who instead invited them to do something else, not to deal with public affairs". This was said to reporters outside the polling station by the president of the Citizenship Referendum Promotion Committee and secretary of +Europ a, Riccardo Magi, who published the photo of the vote on his social media channels. "With this question - added Magi - we have raised awareness in the country on a topic like citizenship that has not been discussed for too many years". "We have seen very young girls and boys get excited, mobilize to vote and this is an immense heritage that we are putting at the disposal of democracy. Good vote to everyone!", he concluded.
